Eminent French School of Commerce Awards Greek Professor

The Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP), the famous school of commerce based in Paris, organized the 2nd International Conference of the Financial Engineering and Banking Society in London on June 7-8, 2012.

The attendants discussed several banking and financial issues but the 2012 Conference put special emphasis on the developments of the banking and risk management industries during a financial crisis era.

But this conference was special for Greek professor Constantinos Zopounidis who got awarded for his “long-term research contribution in the sector of financial engineering.”

The award was given by vice-president of the ESCP, Dr Alain Chevalier. This is the first time that the ESCP has given an award to a professor and may honor other professors next year as well.

The Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP) is a prominent school of management with international success. It was founded in Paris in 1819 and since then, many internationally acknowledged leaders have studied in its walls. It has five branches in Paris, Berlin, London, Madrid and Torino.
