Greek Fashion Designer Aslanis Promoting Ancient Greek Clothing in Germany

Famous Greek fashion designer, Michael Aslanis, plans to travel to Berlin to participate in Fashion Week where he will present his creations inspired by ancient Greek style.

“My new collection for the coming winter will be marked by a dominant Greek element. The collection will include formal dresses in silky fabrics and full puff style. Notable Greek chic motifs will also be represented on dresses, blouses and pants,” explains Michael Aslanis to Greek newspaper Espresso.

In addition, the famous designer is preparing a deeply Greek-inspired jewelry collection as part of his clothing pieces. “It is something I’ve been meaning to do for a long time, and I think now is about time,” says Michael Aslanis.

The designer aims to support the Greek fashion industry and our country in general, given the ugly financial situation we have been facing of late.  He will exhibit his work in an effort to demonstrate that the Greek fashion world is at a similarly elevated level as that of its counterparts in other European countries and that Greek designers have as much talent as others.

Michael Aslanis will introduce Berlin citizens, among the millions of visitors to the upcoming Fashion Week to his ancient Greek style collection. His newest endeavor has come as a result of his recent penchant for traveling abroad. In fact, he has just recently traveled to Berlin where he became acquainted with many people and fell in love with the great German city.
