Greek-Russian Finance Forum Initiated in Moscow

The Greek-Russian Finance Chamber organized the 1st Greek-Russian Forum “Greece-New Investment Cooperation Possibilities” to take place June 6 in the Chamber’s premises in Moscow.

The Forum aims at informing the Russian business community on Greece’s finances, investment cooperation and growth perspectives as well as legal, bank and tax privileges to foreign investors.

Constitutional and business representatives from Greece have been called to participate at the forum, while concrete business proposals will be presented, including attractive investment sectors such as tourism, real estate, food and drink processing, energy, logistics, mining, industrial waste treatment, etc.

The Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Association of Russian banks and Moscow’s Chamber, as well as Russian entrepreneurs and officials worked together for the organization of the Forum to be held at the Greek-Russian Finance Chamber.

From Greece’s side, the Athens Stock Market, the Consignment Deposits & Loans Fund, Attica Finance, the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV), the Private Property Development Fund of the State SA, Invest in Greece and Cyprus Bank sponsored the organization of the Forum and assisted the Greek-Russian Chamber efforts.

The primary goal is for the Greek-Russian Forum to take place annually between the two countries successively.
