The Italian media are promoting Greek tourism, by recommending their viewers visit Greece for vacation. The famous show “That’s Italia” on the La7d TV station, after presenting similarities of the Greek and Italian financial crisis in detail, called on its audience to visit Greece.
A Greek journalist was on the show, sending a clear message. “The Greek sun cannot be hit by any sort of crisis.”
The show, presented by Pino Strabioli and Filippa Lagerbäck, included fascinating images from the Greek islands and the most beautiful corners in Athens, advising the Italian audience to once again have a strong “presence” in their neighboring country, visiting the amazing landscape and the unique archaeological sites.
“The economic crisis has indeed hit Greece, but it can’t compromise your safety and your holiday time. On the contrary, it can become the reason for price reduction, without – however – reducing the offered quality,” stated the representative of the Greek Embassy in Rome, Giorgos Mamalos, to Ansa news agency.
