German Minister of Labour: “Greeks, Come Work in Germany!”

German Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Ursula von der Leyen called on Greek, Spanish and Portuguese citizens to go to work in Germany.

She announced that Mediterraneans could search for a job vacancy on the EURES website and be further informed for European employment.

There are 11,203 job posts available in Europe  awaiting to hire Greeks. Shop assistants, secretaries and specialized craftsmen are on the top of the list, including lorry and bus drivers, carpenters and turners.

Even adults without a high school diploma are welcome to work as cashiers, cleaners and housekeepers; there is job for everyone.

The German Minister stated that such a migration decision would be extra beneficial not only for Germany, but also for the European Union, as unemployment rates would be decreased.

And no one could ever accuse her of not being organized as she has a full plan, calling on German businessmen to find employees from Greece or Spain as well!

Von der Leynen, of Belgian origin, is very popular in Germany; she has been given the name “Super Mutti”(in English, Super Mum) because she has seven children and takes special care of social affairs. Rumor has it that she is going to be the next Chancellor of Germany.
