BBC Reports “Greece Can’t Take Any More Cuts”

The statement of the Greek Minister of Citizen Protection was cited by the BBC online edition in the title of its main article on the Greek situation, which read “Greece can’t take any more cuts”.

According to the Greek Minister, the Greek people have reached their limits with the austerity measures demanded by the EU and IMF. The country and the government are trying as hard as they can to cooperate with the foreign authorities but the people simply cannot abide by the restrictions anymore.

And while the Greek people are suffering from the already imposed austerity measures and are expected to fall deeper into recession, the leaders of the Eurogroup cancelled their scheduled meeting for Wednesday because Greece needed to provide them with more cuts and reassurances that the new package of measures will be imposed.
