8th Festival of Greek Thessalians of Europe in Dusseldorf

A science festival will be held on the 31st of March, 2012 in Dusseldorf, Germany, organized by the Federation of Thessalian Unions in Germany and other European countries, ‘Vassilis Tsitsanis’, and the Union of Thessalians in Dusseldorf.

This festival is one of the grandest that the Federation of Thessalian Unions in Europe organizes every year and a traditional Greek Glenti will take place.

The opening night will feature mathematical sciences and Thessalians people awarded in mathematical competitions.  3 students will be awarded by the Greek Mathematical Society.

The main purpose of the festival is to bring Greek Thessalians around Europe closer together, to inform people of the development of Thessaly and finally to accomplish cooperation between Thessalians abroad and Thessaly District in Greece.
