By Aspasia Zontanou
If you are looking for a book to help you manage your finances, this one could possibly miss the target.
From the UK to Germany a new wave of mocking the Greeks and their financial depth seems to be “le dernier cri” of the multimedia.

The Channel 4 recently released a reality TV-show called “Go Greek for a Week”, which allows British families to experience the “tax, pensions and work practice” in letting them live in Greece, so the description of the show. Following this tradition the well known German satirist Dietmar Bittrich presents his view of Greek lifestlyle in 70 short chapters. Published at Rowohlt Verlag on October 2011, the author who lives in Hamburg, starts the first chapter called “Big fat Greek Living” with a confession: “This book is a confession of love. It is all about (my) love to everything that is Greek.
It is a confession to the art of living. This country is inestimable good for Europe. It has not devoted itself to work, but to the zest of life.
Not to duties, but to delight. How inspiring this can be especially for us Germans!” (translated by Aspasia Zontanou), and goes on with the contribution Greek has made to the Europeans, due to the financial crisis.
The author, alias Dietmarios Bittriklos, gives tips like how to get rid of other cotravellers in stuffed trains by eating tons of tsatsiki (giechify your train voyages) or how to improve your time management in letting other people wait so they can appreciate the meaning of time while they are waiting (griechivy your dates).
