Greece has amassed debts estimated at EUR 360 billion. At the same time its top politicians are really wealthy, especially Finance Minister Evangelos Venizelos, writes German Die Welt daily.
In the peak of the crisis in the euro area for the first time the Greek politicians had to declare their incomes and wealth.
Evangelos Venizelos cannot complain about his fortune. The finance minister disposes around EUR 2.6 million.
Every fifth Greek member of the parliament has a bank account with more than EUR 200,000.
