According to an AFP report on November 26, activists ‘occupied’ the Cypriot Buffer Zone of the Ledra crossing in the divided capital of Nicosia under a Greek and Turkish banner reading “Welcome to Cyprus”.
The crossing is under UN-control and the activists followed the example of many similar ‘occupation’ movements around the world, in order to support the reunification of Cyprus.
