German Bild Refers to Makis Psomiadis as Greece’s Biggest Fraud

Infamous Makis Psomiadis became a featured article in German daily newspaper Bild under the title “This is Greece’s Biggest Fraud”.

The German newspaper reports that Psomiadis is an “almost symbolic figure” of a recession-hit and corrupted Greece, stressing out the fact that the former owner of Kavala F.C. is the son of a priest and ended up doing what pleased him without having to answer to anyone.

The German article characterizes Psomiadis as a Greek football “god”, who had been extremely offensive towards the players of his team.

The article also referred to the former football player Demis Nikolaidis, who had filed a lawsuit against Psomiadis for sending a group of paid bodyguards to threaten him.

In the meantime, the match-fixing and illegal betting activities of Psomiadis are being presented, as well as the fiasco of his first arrest in Athens, unexplainable release and second arrest in Skopje.
