Earlier, a police force prevented a convoy of “frustrated citizens” from reaching the village Kelaki, near Lemessos, where the cottage of the President Dimitris Christofias is located.
The protesters, however, still remain in the nearby area.
The convoy, that started from Lemessos, is a part of the almost daily protests for the explosion in the naval base “Evaggelos Florakis”, on the 11th of July, killing 13 people.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, another group of citizens went on the 300 Kilometres March for the fifth day starting from Pafos and ending up outside the presidential palace in Nicosia. Today they reached Paralimni, where they will spend the night.
