Another award was given for the car of the TUC which managed once again, to get the security prize at the Economy Marathon organized by Shell in Germany. It may look like the car of 2009 and 2010, however, a number of changes have been made, such as the pedestrian warning system, but also internal changes, like the addition of leather and of the specific information screen.
TUC’s team, which develops and builds low-power city vehicles, is supported by the Interdisciplinary Laboratory for Machine Tools and the Laboratory of Intelligent Systems and Robotics of the Technical University of Crete where cars are constructed from scratch.
