Glykeria & Sarbel Perform at Alexandra Palace for the Cyprus Wine Festival

The annual Cyprus Wine Festival will take place on Saturday, 25th & Sunday, 26th June at the Alexandra Palace, Wood Green, the most prestigious venue in North London. The official opening of the festival will be on Saturday at 6pm by the Cypriot Minister for Commerce and Industry.

The popular two-day festival is an entertaining event, bringing together the close-knit Cypriot community in Britain. Apart from over 100 stands, exhibiting jewelery, bags, soft toys, clothes, books and other interesting items, there will be plenty of food and the best Cypriot wine. There will also be performances from various talented singers and lively dancing by local dance groups.

The main attraction, however, will be renowned Greek artist Glykeria and guest star Sarbel who will be performing throughout the extravaganza. Glykeria, famous around the world for her notable Rebetika songs and Sarbel, a British Cypriot pop singer are being brought back by popular demand. Their presence at the festival is expected to ensure a complete sell out of entrance tickets.

Time: Saturday – 25th June – 11:00 – 23:00 & Sunday – 26th June – 11:00 – 21:00

Admission: Adults: £6.00 – Over 60 – £4.00 – Under 12- Free

Visitors over the age of 18 will receive a small complimentary bottle of wine when handing over their entrance ticket at the Wine Tasting stand.
