Erol User is a leading banker of User Danismanlik. He maintained in the Greek newspaper “Proto Thema” that many businessmen from Turkey want to invest in Greece and are lining up to buy Greek bonds, helping our country to overcome its huge financial difficulties.
He stated that there is a big interest expressed by Turkish banks for the Greek financial system but he did not want to reveal any details. Bankers in Turkey, and in Europe in general, are looking for new opportunities and Greece can offer them.
Mr. User said that Turkey would not be reluctant to acquire Greek companies, although there are obvious problems between the two countries.
