Greek Film Director Nikos Papatakis Passes at 92

The famous Greek film director Nikos Papatakis, husband of the actress Anouk Aimee, passed away, at the age of 92 in Paris.
He was born on July 19th 1918 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He fought against the Italians during the 2nd World War.  He lived in exile, first in Lebanon and then in Greece. In 1939 he moved permanently to Paris, where he socialized with high society, such as Jean Paul Sartre, Jean Genet, Andre Breton and Jacques Prevert.
