Efforts for the promotion of Greek tourism in Germany through Bild newspaper, read by 18 million people, have been concluded. The effort was launched under the initiative of the MEP of the FDP Party, G. Chatzimarkakis in collaboration with SETE and the support of the GNTO. It included an interview with the Minister of Tourism and Culture Paul Geroulanos for Bild newspaper and a contest for its readers. Two-hundred out of all entries won a week in 4 and 5 star SETE member hotels.
The initiative was also supported by Aegean Airlines, the General Panhellenic Federation of Tourism Enterprises, the Hellenic Association of Greek Tourism and Travel Agencies and the ACCTA, Association of Tourist and Travel Agencies of Crete.
