As of yesterday, ten episodes of a new TV show titled: “My Cypriot Kitchen” will be sponsored by the Cyprus Tourist Organisation (CTO).
The show will be presented by Cypriot TV presenter Tonia Buxton (photo) who also hosted “My Greek Kitchen”.
“Tonia will create traditional recipes using fresh and natural ingredients. She will also participate in events in villages and communities and visit local markets, traditional bakeries and wineries” stated the CTO.
“My Cypriot Kitchen” will air on September 11th and will be broadcast in Britain and across Europe on the Sky-Discovery Travel and Living Channel at 8 pm.
The channel is available for Cypriots through satellite and cable providers.
CTO Chairman Alekos Orountiotis said that the aim of the show was to present the rich history, culture and traditions of Cyprus in the most authentic manner.
