Turkish and Greek journalists are set to gather in conference meeting on September 18-19 in the western port city of Izmir.
Over two hundred journalists will meet in the Sixth Turkish-Greek News Media Conference at Izmir’s Swisshotel to discuss a project to set up a “Turkish-Greek Journalists Association.”
Greek Deputy Premier Theodoros Pangalos and Turkish State Minister Hayati Yazici are also expected to attend the conference.
The conference is held every two years.
