The 2nd Mediterranean Biennial began in Cologne, Germany. It is a cultural event that aims for intercultural communication between Cologne and its Mediterranean sister cities.
Two artist participated from Thessaloniki: Yorgos Tsakiris, Professor at the School of Fine Arts in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Katerina Velliou.
The presentation of their works took place last Saturday in the Statt-Museum gallery of modern art.
The theme of this Biennial was “Sisyphus” as a symbol of hopeless efforts, punishment and insistence.
The exhibition will take place until September 15th.
