Two Bulgarians have been arrested in the city of Patra in southern Greece and charged with human trafficking The Bulgaria News Agency (BTA) reported. An unnamed man was arrested along with a Kurdish national during an attempt to smuggle people en route to Italy.
Both men had an appointment with a Bulgarian woman who was driving a vehicle containing 18 concealed illegal immigrants, media reports stated. All of them were headed to Italy. The nationality of the immigrants was also not made available in the report.
