Exhibition for the Greek language in Geneva

The Library of Geneva organizes an exhibition which is called “Alpha Beta Gamma, the studying of the Greek language in Geneva”. The exhibition will take place until the 18th of September and the newspaper “Tribune de Geneve” created a special publication for the studying of the Greek Language in Geneva since 1559, when the Greek firstly introduced in the Swiss city until today. We have to mention that today, 264 students are being taught the Greek language in Geneva.

The exhibition is organized in the framework of the International Congress of Papyrology which will be held in Geneva from the 16th to the 21st of August.
