First Regional Turkish-Greek Business Forum

A group of Greek businesspeople will participate in the “First Regional Turkish-Greek Business Forum” to take place in north-western province of Edirne on Friday.
Ninety Greek businesspeople will meet Turkish counterparts on Friday and try to minimize the impacts of an economic crisis in Greece.
Turkey’s Industry & Trade Minister Nihat Ergun; Greek Deputy Minister of Economy, Competitiveness and Shipping Markos Bolaris; undersecretaries; governors; and chairmen of chambers; and businessmen of the two countries will participate in the First Regional Turkish-Greek Business Forum to be held in Edirne on June 18.
Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan paid a formal visit to Greece on May 14-15. Two countries signed 22 agreements during this visit.
The Edirne Forum is being organized by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Foreign Economic Relations Board and Chamber of Trade and Industry of Edirne.
