Results of a third post mortem examination on Chelsea Hyndman were today revealed as “inconclusive”.
The family of Luke Walker, who is in custody charged with her murder, say it is the clearest indication yet that he is innocent.
They now want officials in Crete to be given Miss Hyndman’s medical records as part of the investigation.
Walker’s father Patrick arrived back from the Greek holiday island on Saturday to hold discussions with solicitors.
He said that the legal teams remained “positive” in their bid to secure bail, and solicitors were now compiling a case to be presented to the Greek courts.
Mr Walker said he planned to visit Miss Hyndman’s family before travelling back to Crete either tomorrow or later in the week.
“Our guy did the post mortem on Friday with the person who did the original post mortem and they come to the conclusion that it is inconclusive, which is good news for us,” he said.
Mr Walker said details of the full autopsy into Miss Hyndman’s death were due to be released to police tomorrow.
“They made up their minds, I think, that it was physical violence. Even on their autopsy report said that it was a blow to the stomach and doesn’t mention physical violence. There was no foundation,” he added.

Yorkshire died of injuries when she fell down steps on to a beer glass while on a girls’ night out.
The couple had been living in the Crete holiday resort of Malia, where they had worked over the past three years.
Luke Walker’s legal costs are likely to be in the region of £40,000.
An event at the Dock and Iron pub, Brierley Hill, was held in the hope of raising money towards legal costs.
Family members, including Walker’s cousin Daniella, helped organise the fundraiser.
