Approximately 100 people demonstrated in Brussels two days ago expressing their solidarity towards Greece’s opposition to the rescue plan from the European Union and International Monetary Fund, according to French journalists. The peaceful demonstration, was organized by a group of Greeks residing in Belgium and was supported by many left wing and far-left groups and organizations. “With the imposition of such unfair austerity measures in many European countries, the EU and IMF support the part of bankers”, stated George Vasalos, a researcher at the European Center of Studies and one of the demonstration’s organizers.
