Patriarch Bartholomew to visit Russia

The Ecumenical Patriarch, His all Holiness Bartholomew, is scheduled to visit Russia, arriving on the 22nd and staying through until the 31st of May. The Patriarch will be welcomed by Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia at Moscow airport, whilst on Sunday he is expected to celebrate Divine Liturgy, along with Patriarch Kirill, blessing the pilgrims from the balcony of the Patriarchal Halls of Saint Laura of the Holy Trinity and St. Sergius.
During his stay in Moscow the Ecumenical Patriarch will have a meeting with the President of the Russian Federation, Mr. Dimitry Mendevev as well as with the Mayor of Moscow, Mr. Yuri Luskov.
On Thursday, the Patriarch will visit Saint Petersburg and Valaam island.
